FaceX, operated by ALONE BEAST, is designed to help you explore facial symmetry through an analysis performed in your browser. We take a privacy-first approach: the photo you select is processed locally on your device and is not uploaded to our servers by this website.
1. Information We Process
When you use the analyzer, your browser reads the image you intentionally select through the file picker or drag-and-drop area. The application creates a temporary in-memory image and canvas representation so that the facial landmark model can identify points and calculate the displayed symmetry score. The image is not sent to ALONE BEAST, stored in an account, added to an advertising profile, or sold.
We may receive limited technical information through ordinary hosting and security logs, such as an approximate IP address, browser type, operating system, requested URL, referrer, timestamp, and error information. Hosting providers may process this information to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and maintain reliability. We do not use the photo itself as an analytics event.
2. On-Device Processing
Facial detection and scoring are performed using browser JavaScript and a client-side machine-learning model. Model files may be fetched from the configured public content delivery sources so the tool can operate. Your selected image remains within the browser session.
Closing or refreshing the page removes the temporary image and result from the page state. You should still avoid selecting images that you do not have permission to analyze.
3. How Information Is Used
Technical information is used only to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service. We may use aggregated, non-identifying measurements such as page performance or error counts.
We do not use facial geometry, face landmarks, photographs, or analysis scores to identify a person, make decisions about a person, train a remote model, or create biometric profiles.
4. Cookies and Local Storage
The site may use browser storage for basic interface preferences where enabled by the current build. This preference does not contain your photo, facial landmarks, score, name, email address, or biometric information.
You can clear site data using your browser settings. If a future version introduces analytics, advertising, login, or other storage, this policy will be updated before that change is material.
5. Third-Party Services
The website may rely on hosting, content delivery, font, or model-delivery providers. Those providers may process technical request data under their own policies.
We aim to keep third-party requests limited and do not intentionally transmit the image selected in the analyzer to those services. External links are provided for convenience and are not controlled by us.
6. Children and Sensitive Data
FaceX is a general-purpose informational tool and is not directed to children under 13, or the higher age required in your jurisdiction. Do not upload images of children without appropriate parental or guardian permission.
A facial image can be sensitive personal information even when processed locally. Use the tool only when you have a lawful basis and the necessary consent to do so.
7. Security and Retention
We use reasonable technical measures, including local processing and encrypted delivery where available, to reduce unnecessary exposure. No internet service can promise absolute security.
We do not retain uploaded photos or analysis results on our servers. Temporary browser memory can be cleared by closing the page, refreshing it, or using the reset control.
8. Your Choices and Rights
You can choose not to use the analyzer, select a different image, reset the current session, disable browser storage, or contact us with a privacy question.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing. Because we do not maintain an account database of uploaded images, requests about server-side photo deletion generally have no retained photo to delete.
9. Changes and Contact
We may update this policy when the service, law, or data practices change. The date above identifies the latest version.
If you believe the site has handled information contrary to this policy, contact ALONE BEAST through the Contact page and include the relevant page, date, and a description of the concern.
Do not email photographs or other sensitive personal information unless it is necessary and you have permission to share it.
This policy explains the current website behavior in plain language; it is not legal advice. Organisations publishing the app through Google Play should also complete the applicable Data safety disclosures and confirm that their store listing, in-app disclosures, consent flows, and regional obligations match their actual deployment.
